Ok...I had what I thot was the un-enviable task last night of telling 'the man' that no, despite what he wanted the  old proverbial bottom line' that no, I would not be getting on a plane and dragging our daughter's happy little ass home.  I expected the typical male macho response....along the line of any or all various combinations of the following ......"doesn't she respect you,  are you inept and can't control your daughter, you need me to do this for you, yadda,yadda,yadda?"  And I had warned Tina that she could expect a phone call probably along those lines. 

Imagine my surprise when he said, "She is your daughter and I trust your judegement."

Damn but the man can surprise me.....and please me all in the same breath.
